The Commercial Assistant supports the Commercial and Distribution functions in sourcing and procurement projects.
The successful candidate ensures accurate order processing, timely communication between internal and external stakeholders, and efficient coordination of distribution activities to maintain high service levels with key government bodies.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Order Management & Distribution Coordination
Process and track daily orders with accuracy and speed.
Resolve delivery issues, shortages, mispacks, and invoice discrepancies.
Liaise with 3PL partners and internal teams to coordinate and close out any queries.
Monitor order fulfilment, shortages, out of stocks and delivery performance.
Ensure delivery requirements and cutoff times are met.
Support on day-to-day management of government contracts
B. Commercial & Sales Administration
Maintain pricing files & SKU master data.
Support sales teams with queries on stock, pricing, delivery schedules, or customer activity.
C. Reporting & Analytics
Support Operations Manager in data cleansing for daily/weekly/monthly reports including:
Service level and fill rate
Sales vs. forecast
Assist with data analysis to identify service issues or supply bottlenecks.
Support month end activities
D. Internal Collaboration & General Administration
Work closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Finance, and Marketing teams.
Maintain digital filing systems, prepare documentation, manage admin tasks as required.
