They control access to the village, assist with emergencies and ensure our guests have an enjoyable stay.We hope our guests never need them, but knowing we have a Security team on call all year-round provides peace of mind and reassurance.SECURITY OFFICER | €16.27 per hourWe are looking for a cheerful and efficient Security Officer to work within a small team, responsible for the Security of our village. This role is paramount to our guest journey as you will represent their first impressions of Center Parcs.Duties will include:Welcoming guests, visitors, and colleagues to the village dailyCarrying out vehicle, cycle, and foot patrols, conducting vehicle checksEscorting colleagues moving high volume items across the villageResponding to emergencies, including liaising with the emergency services and writing incident reportsThe ideal candidate will have the ability to remain calm under pressure, with the ability to communicate competently both verbally and in writing. A First Aid qualification is essential and full training will be given if necessary.Please note that to apply for a role with us, you must be able to reliably commute to Center Parcs Longford Forest, as it is not easily accessible by public transport. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.About YouEssential requirements:Good communication skills, both orally and writtenAbility to perform under pressureA good knowledge of IT systemsFriendly, genuine, and warm towards colleagues and guestsFull Driving Licence, held for a minimum of 6 monthsA Garda Vetting Licence, First Aid qualification and Private Security Authority Licence (to include Door Supervisor and Static Guard).
