The Role – Technical Support Specialist
As Technical Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for technical queries across a broad portfolio of HVAC products and building services systems.
Based in the Dublin head office, you will support contractors, field service engineers and internal teams with fault finding, troubleshooting and product guidance.
This is a key position within the service function, ensuring that heating, cooling and ventilation systems operate efficiently and that customers receive expert, responsive support.
Your work will directly impact service delivery standards, customer satisfaction and long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line technical support across a wide range of HVAC products including heating and cooling systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and system-related issues over phone and email.
Support field engineers and service technicians with technical guidance and product expertise.
Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or specialist product teams where required.
Maintain accurate service records, warranty information and technical logs within the CRM system.
Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, user guides and FAQs.
Collaborate with service, engineering and sales teams to ensure consistent customer support.
Promote best practice in system performance, energy efficiency and product application.
About You
Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related technical discipline.
Experience in a technical support, service desk or HVAC support role.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, heating and cooling equipment or building services products.
Logical and methodical approach to fault finding and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
Comfortable managing multiple queries and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate service documentation.
