Our client, a progressive public sector organisation, is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to support the Director of Strategic Planning, Performance and Business Development on a temporary contract. This is a hybrid role (two days in the office, three remote) and will suit a highly organised candidate with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Immediate start required. Personal Assistant (Public Sector, Dublin) – €45,000
Location: Dublin 12 – Hybrid (2 office / 3 remote days)
Salary: €45,000 per annum
Contract: Temporary contract (initial 1–6 months, with potential to extend)
Full-time, 39 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
* Provide full executive support to the Director of Strategic Planning, Performance and Business Development.
* Manage diary, correspondence, and documentation efficiently and confidentially.
* Prepare high-quality reports, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel data summaries.
* Co-ordinate meetings, MS Teams calls, and follow-up actions.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders across planning, performance, and business development functions.
Essential Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years’ PA/EA experience supporting senior management.
* Excellent MS Office proficiency, particularly Excel (data handling, formatting, charts) and PowerPoint (presentations, reports).
* Strong organisational and communication skills, with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
* NFQ Level 6 qualification in Business Administration or equivalent, or 3+ years’ relevant public sector administrative experience.
Desirable Requirements
* Experience working within a performance, strategy, or data-driven team.
* Familiarity with public sector reporting structures.
* Comfortable with hybrid working and MS Teams collaboration tools.
