Overview
Solution Architect (Senior)
Location: Dublin ; occasional travel to client sites.
Duration : 12+ months – highly extendable
Key Deliverables
1. Provide architectural oversight & leadership and technical guidance throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, from strategy development to solution implementation.
2. Oversee and support the end-to-end delivery of complex Oracle projects, ensuring alignment with clients' business requirements and best practices.
3. Work with the team and external advisers to analyse clients' business requirements and develop and implement appropriate best practice solutions that meet industry standards.
4. Actively contributing to the development of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and reviewing of resulting Functional Designs (FDs)
5. Working with, and providing subject matter expertise to, both technical team, clients and System Implementation partner on both system configurations, including inventory, and custom developments (i.e. Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows);
6. Playing an active and expert role in the data migration, data conversion and data reconciliation process of client data by advising clients on what data to extract from their legacy system, ensuring that it is provided in the format/structure required for import into Oracle and working with clients to ensure their data is loaded correctly
7. Support the delivery of User Acceptance Testing and End User Testing
Skills and Competencies:
Strong experience in Oracle eBusiness Suite implementations and techno-functional expertise.
8. Solution architectural oversight & leadership.
9. Collaboration with System Implementer and technical stakeholders.
10. Assessment and design of client solutions.
11. Functional expertise in Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflow.
12. Data Migration, Conversion, and Reconciliation.
13. End User Training.
14. Techno-functional skills: PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Workflow Builder, OAF page development.
15. Practical experience with Oracle EBS modules: Purchasing, Inventory Management, Fixed Assets, Order Management, General Ledger.
Operations Deliverables
16. Provide hands-on support and guidance to the operations teams in analysing issues and determining appropriate solutions
17. Partner with teams across business functions to drive organisational efficiency
18. Identify and develop new project opportunities, building long-lasting, trusted client relationships.
Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
