Are you a people-focused People Advisor?
Looking for a role where you can use your understanding of legislation, HR knowledge, and personal initiative to provide high-quality customer service and support to all levels of the business?
Do you have a proven background in delivering strong outcomes and building excellent relationships?
If so, we have an opportunity for a People Advisor to join our People team in Dublin.
This role will be based from home a couple of days a week but with travel to stores 2-3 days a week, possibly to local Dublin stores or other locations as needed, including occasional travel to UK and Cork head offices, sometimes overnight.
The Impact you will have in this role includes:
* Providing supportive advice to colleagues across the business throughout the employee lifecycle
* Prompt and accurate case documentation and administration
* Identifying potential employee relation cases and minimizing risks through proactive updates with managers
* Supporting meetings and processes with guidance on employment law and company policies
* Keeping legal, senior management, and People Partners informed to mitigate risks
* Managing absenteeism effectively, including monitoring, home visits, occupational health referrals, and accommodations
* Ensuring colleagues are aware of absence procedures and promoting wellbeing and mental health support
* Providing quality administrative customer service through People Support
* Staying updated on legislation through learning courses and seminars
* Supporting division/department projects and initiatives
* Building trusting relationships with management and providing insightful input
* Implementing People initiatives with operational and colleague experience considerations
* Managing business changes smoothly with transparent communication

As our future People Advisor, you will have:
In-depth knowledge of Irish employment law, contractual rights, data protection, and company policies. Experience in confidential HR/People environments, preferably in retail or logistics.
Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills.
Awareness of financial constraints and business performance impacts on budgets and P&L, with a responsible approach to costs.
Ideally Level 5 CIPD qualified, with a score of 400 or equivalent.
