We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our growing Corporate Services team. We offer a dynamic and international corporate atmosphere as well as customized training tailored to your needs throughout your career.
Job Description:
* You will have full responsibility for a portfolio of client accounts and act as the main liaison and point of contact for all matters relating to the accounts, including preparing management accounts, financial statements, managing audit processes, VAT returns, Central Bank reporting, and other ad hoc projects.
* You will assist the senior accountant with other client tasks as described above.
* You will be an important link between management and clients, responsible for ensuring the quality of work done for your clients’ accounts and your direct reports’ client accounts.
* You will participate in the setup of structured finance entities and help implement procedures and processes to ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Managing day-to-day client operations and following up with third parties, including investors, clients, auditors, and tax advisors.
* Handling company accounts and collaborating on the preparation of periodic and regulatory reports.
* Preparing financial statements and management accounts, and coordinating audits.
* Assisting with bank account openings and processing payments.
* Responding to requests from senior staff.
* Participating in board and shareholders’ meetings.
* Reviewing tax returns and balances.
* Preparing VAT, VAT RTD, and other relevant returns for the Irish Revenue.
* Assisting the regulatory reporting team with FVC, S110 returns to the Central Bank of Ireland.
* Responding to client requests related to tax planning, in collaboration with external tax advisors if needed.
* Handling other internal operational tasks and ad hoc projects.
Your Profile:
* Currently pursuing a professional qualification in accounting, auditing (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Holding a degree in Accounting & Finance or Economics.
* At least 2 years of relevant experience in domiciliation or audit, experience with SPV is a plus.
* Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
* Client-facing experience is a plus. A strong team player who cares about results and quality of work, with the ability to build solid client relationships.
* Proactive, able to act independently when appropriate, and professional both internally and externally.
