.NET Application and Development Consultant:
What You'll Do
We are looking for a .NET consultant to reinforce a small team responsible for a business-critical legacy application used for sales and provisioning activities.
The application is based on .NET Framework and requires:
ongoing production support, and
functional and technical evolutions requested by business teams.
The role combines development, support, analysis, and continuous improvement in a collaborative, reliability-driven environment.
Objectives
Ensure stable and reliable operation of the application in production
Contribute to the controlled evolution of a legacy system
Improve maintainability, robustness, and code quality over time
Responsibilities
Production support (incident analysis, troubleshooting, bug fixing)
Development and maintenance of existing and new functionalities
Participation in technical and architectural discussions
Coordination with other IT teams to manage dependencies
Clear communication on progress, issues, and next steps
Technical Skills
Strong experience with .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET 8.0
Expertise in ASP.NET, SQL Server, and web services (REST & SOAP)
Solid understanding of Clean Code principles and SOLID design patterns
Experience with automated testing and continuous integration
Administration and configuration of IIS
Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking and project management
Excellent communication skills in English and French
