The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for maintaining high standards across all facilities, ensuring compliance with EHSQ regulations. This role involves overseeing contractor performance, managing logistics, and ensuring that all work adheres to defined scopes. By coordinating various contractors and aligning with management directives, the coordinator ensures efficient and effective site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage contracts for maintenance activities.
* Oversee logistics and ensure contract compliance.
* Supervise site services and evaluate contractor performance.
* Assist in budgeting and financial planning for site operations.
* Participate in the procurement of necessary equipment and services.
* Lead and support various site improvement projects.
* Contribute to management meetings and strategic planning.
* Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines.
* Develop and update standard operating procedures for maintenance.
* Provide training for operations staff.
* Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and HR standards.
* Maintain digital systems for contract management and safety.
* Track and report on contractor performance metrics.
* Promote sustainability and environmental responsibility on site.
* Participate in emergency response and incident investigations.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Degree or diploma in Engineering or a related field.
* Qualifications in Business, Operations, or technical fields are also accepted.
* Safety certification in technical or industrial areas is highly advantageous.
* Training in maintenance, production, or project management is beneficial.
* Strong IT skills, particularly with digital systems.
* At least 5 years of experience in operations or facilities management.
* Proven experience in contractor management, compliance, and project coordination.
