The Junior Baker will play a key role in ensuring high-quality baked goods for Tram Café locations.Responsibilities include:Baking & Production: Prepare cakes and pastries according to company standards, ensuring timely completion of daily orders while maintaining accuracy and consistency.Quality Control: Ensure all orders are completed properly, adhering to presentation and portion control guidelines.Inventory Management: Assist with ingredient restocking and inventory control to maintain efficient workflow.Recipe Development: Collaborate with the Bakery Manager to create new cake recipes for cafés and hotels, demonstrating creativity, precision, and a strong aesthetic sense.Packaging & Catering: Prepare cake boxes for catering orders as needed.Waste Monitoring: Track and record waste in the designated waste book to minimize losses.Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues, supporting one another to complete all tasks efficiently.Training and Development: Assist Bakery Manager and Senior Baker in the training and development of bakery team members.Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including completing necessary daily HACCP records.Equipment Handling: Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and efficiently ,reporting any defects immediately for repair.Professionalism: Maintain a clean and presentable appearance at all times.Reliability & Work Ethic: Demonstrate dependability, conscientiousness, and a proactive approach to work.Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks as reasonably requested by the Senior Baker or Bakery Manager.Shift Requirements:Must be available for early morning shifts, starting at 5:00 AM.This role requires a team-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for baking.Pastry experience is a strong advantage.Job Type: Full-timePay: €14.50 per hourBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany eventsEmployee discountFood allowanceOn-site parkingSick payApplication question(s):This is a Full Time/ Permanent RoleEarly mornings are required (5am shift start) Can you commute for this shift?Do you have a visa?
