Automation Engineer
European Tech Recruit are working closely with a leading pharma company, based in Limerick, who are looking for an Automation Engineer with strong DeltaV experience to join their team.
This role is an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend further.
In this role you will be responsible for supporting the startup of a new Process Area through the full project lifecycle from detailed design, commissioning and qualification.
Responsibilities as Automation Engineer:
* Ability to program, diagnose and troubleshoot Delta V application for automated Bio process equipment.
* Development of automation design documentation.
* Design and configuration of process graphics.
* Oversee coding of Delta V CMs, EMs and Phase Classes to site standards.
* Support the design of Unit Operations, Unit Procedures and Procedures.
* Working with validation engineers to ensure that the code is validated to the appropriate standards.
* Automation support for C&Q during the commissioning phase of the projects.
* Code review and testing of Delta V code and configuration.
* Supporting customer walkthroughs/interactive reviews of code.
* Excellent understanding of Delta V network and infrastructure.
* Interact and support other departments for project deliverables.
* Adhere to site standards and procedures.
Requirements:
* BS/BA or higher in Science, Engineering, Instrumentation, Information Technology or related field, and minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred. May substitute relevant experience for education.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience in project management.
* Irish GXP Bio start up experience is essential.
* Asset Management System (AMS) knowledge is desired.
