What you'll be doing:
* Support the day-to-day finance function, gaining hands-on experience across bookkeeping, reconciliations and transactional accounts.
* Assist with both accounts payable and accounts receivable, working with customer and supplier accounts.
* Contribute to credit control, financial reporting and general finance operations.
* Provide support to payroll processing and payroll administration activities.
* Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
* Support tax and compliance activities, including VAT and regulatory reporting.
* Help with cashflow monitoring, forecasting and maintaining accurate financial records.
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience in accounts, bookkeeping, or payroll
* Part-qualified, ATI-qualified, or working towards an accounting qualification
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy
* Comfortable with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* A strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a team and dealing with clients/suppliers
* An interest in renewable energy or high-growth industries is a bonus
