As Construction Director, you will manage residential construction projects from concept through to completion and handover. Initially focused on individual projects, the role offers a clear path to overseeing all residential developments in the region.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead multidisciplinary project teams, recruit, mentor and support team members to build a high-performing construction division.
* Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants and regulatory bodies.
* Act as primary point of contact for project updates and issue resolution.
* Oversee all phases of construction from concept through to handover, manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation.
* Ensure compliance with building regulations, safety standards and environmental goals.
* Develop and manage project budgets, monitor cash flow and control costs.
* Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring contractual and legal obligations are met.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years experience in a senior management role within construction.
* Proven track record in delivering large-scale residential projects.
* Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Excellent commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
* Proficiency in project management tools and IT systems.
* In-depth knowledge of construction methods, regulations and industry best practices.
