Job Overview
The Maintenance Manager role is a key position in our organization, responsible for leading and managing the engineering department. This includes overseeing shift engineering staff and driving reliability and efficiency across production equipment and site infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the engineering department, including shift engineering staff
- Drive reliability and efficiency across production equipment and site infrastructure
- Develop and execute a preventative maintenance strategy
- Manage capital projects, installations, and equipment upgrades
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., H&S, engineering standards)
Requirements:
This role requires an experienced engineering professional with at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment, preferably in food. The ideal candidate will have strong people management, team development, and communication skills, as well as knowledge of PLCs, automation, and site services. They should also be skilled in planning and project management, and driven to embed a culture of reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.
