**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Fundraising Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies.

The Fundraising Specialist will be responsible for planning and executing income-generating events, identifying new opportunities for philanthropy, and building relationships with community stakeholders.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

* Developing a calendar of significant regular income-generating events and supporting their operation.
* Driving the development of philanthropy/donor opportunities/networks.
* Managing donor databases and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
* Establishing a charitable foundation for the organisation.
* Engaging with community groups and volunteers to support local fundraising initiatives.
* Organising and managing community fundraising events.
* Developing and distributing fundraising materials to support community efforts.
* Building and maintaining relationships with community stakeholders.
* Monitoring and reporting on fundraising progress against targets.
* Staying informed about fundraising trends and best practices.
* Collaborating with other departments to integrate fundraising activities with overall organisational goals.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A third-level qualification (Level 7 or higher on the National Framework of Qualifications) in a relevant field, such as Business, Event Management, Marketing & Public Relations.
* Proven experience in a fundraising role, with a strong track record of achieving agreed targets.
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Skillful use of social media and communication platforms.
