A leading manufacturing organisation in Cork is seeking a Supply Chain Supervisor to lead Planning, Purchasing, Supplier Development, Customer Service, and Logistics activities. This role ensures customer and business commitments are met within a regulated, made-to-order manufacturing environment. The position involves leadership responsibility for a team.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and allocate resources to meet customer and operational targets
Lead Procurement, Planning, Supplier Development, Customer Service, and Logistics teams
Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Quality to deliver against sales orders
Monitor performance against KPIs including OTIF, inventory accuracy, delivery, and costs
Drive corrective actions where targets are not achieved
Ensure compliance with Known Consignor, Dangerous Goods, and import/export regulations
Maintain accurate inventory control and ERP data integrity
Lead Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives
Support recruitment, training, performance management, and employee development
Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to company policies
Requirements
Experience managing teams in a regulated manufacturing environment
Qualification and experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, or related discipline
SAP experience desirable
Known Consignor and Lean experience advantageous
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
