About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Radiographer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality MRI services to patients, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and contributing to the development of clinical policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
">

* Delivering high-quality MRI services to patients, including routine and complex examinations
">
* Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration
">
* Contributing to the development of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements
">
* Participating in performance reviews and developing a personal development plan (PDP)
">
* Maintaining accurate information systems for clinical data, adhering to hospital standards
">
* Reporting any operation issues to the CSR and/or Radiography Services Manager
">
* Managing use of consumables efficiently
">
* Supervising and teaching recently qualified radiographers/assistants/students and masters level postgraduate students
">
* Ensuring all patients who suffer a contrast reaction or any other illness during or after an imaging incident are correctly cared for and followed up afterwards in line with Hospital Policy
">
* Maintaining patient confidentiality at all times and ensuring all staff uphold this principle
">
* Ensuring due regard is given to the customs, values and spiritual beliefs of all patients and staff
">
* Liaising with the CSR/Radiographic Service Manager on the rotation of staff through the Department to ensure an adequate number of trained staff are available
">
* Being able to lead and be an active member of both a radiographic and multidisciplinary team
">

Requirements:
">
">
* Degree in Radiography or Diploma of the College of Radiographers
">
* Registered in the Radiographer's Division by the Radiographers Registration Board maintained at CORU
">
* Not less than 3 years full-time post-qualification clinical experience
">
* Recognised postgraduate course as recognised by the IIRRT (desirable) or relevant clinical experience in a specialised modality
">
