Financial Services Tax Assistant Manager Location: Dublin (Hybrid) A leading professional services firm is seeking a talented and ambitious Tax Assistant Manager to join its expanding Financial Services Tax team.

About the Role The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients across the financial services industry, including asset management, banking, securitisation, asset leasing, and insurance/reinsurance.
The work is technically challenging and commercially focused, with significant client exposure and opportunities to contribute to business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Support tax partners and senior managers in delivering high-quality, timely, and practical tax advice to Irish and international clients.
Take ownership of client projects, ensuring delivery in line with expectations and deadlines.
Mentor and support junior members of the tax team.
Assist with the corporate tax compliance process for a diverse client portfolio.
Conduct technical tax research to support client work and internal knowledge sharing.
Contribute to identifying new business opportunities and innovative service offerings.
Assist with managing fees, budgets, and collections in line with firm targets.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Qualified tax, legal, or accountancy professional (CTA/ITI or equivalent).
Strong academic background with solid technical knowledge of Irish corporate tax legislation.
Minimum of 3 years experience in a professional tax environment (Big 4 or top-tier firm experience advantageous).
Prior experience in financial services tax is desirable but not essential.
Strong commercial acumen and a client-focused mindset.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
