Customer obsessed, high energy and love learning every day? If that sounds like you, earn €450+ per week as a Customer Assistant on our standard 30 hour contract. You’ll work across different shift times, on varied tasks and with different colleagues.
What does a normal day as a Customer Assistant look like? There’s no such thing as ‘normal’ in retail but we’ve described typical duties and shift patterns below.
Shift Patterns
* Morning shift: Starting at 5am or 6am with your team, you’ll be stocking the shop floor and bakery products for opening time so customers can Go Full Lidl.
* Middle shift: Starting mid-morning or early afternoon, you’ll keep the store clean, well presented and products fresh, help customers on the shop floor, and work on tills to minimise queues.
* Late shift: Afternoon start, serving customers on tills, restocking missing items and getting the store ready for the next day.
What You'll Do
* Interacting with the customer in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner
* Ensuring stock loss controls are followed in all areas of the store
* Maintaining store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards
* Following freshness and rotation principles
* Ensuring all waste is managed correctly
* Assisting in the stock count process
What You'll Need
* A can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills

* To be responsible and reliable
* To enjoy working in a fast-paced, varied environment
* A good team player
* Preferably, previous experience in a customer facing role but this is not essential provided you have the right attitude

* €15.10 rising to €17.40 per hour after 3 years (supplementary pay outlined below)

* Year 1: Basic €15.10; Unsocial Hours €18.88; Overtime/Sundays €22.65; Bank Holiday €30.20
* Year 2: Basic €15.70; Unsocial Hours €19.63; Overtime/Sundays €23.55; Bank Holiday €31.40
* Year 3: Basic €16.40; Unsocial Hours €20.50; Overtime/Sundays €24.60; Bank Holiday €32.80
* Year 4: Basic €17.40; Unsocial Hours €21.75; Overtime/Sundays €26.10; Bank Holiday €34.80
