Motor Claims Consultant – International Focus

Location: South Dublin (Hybrid – 2 days in office)

Salary: €50,000–€55,000 + bonus, pension, health insurance & hybrid working

Abrivia are recruiting for a Motor Claims Consultant to join our client, a leading motor insurer with operations in 20+ European markets. This is a unique opportunity to work in a technically focused role with international exposure.

You’ll be responsible for reviewing the performance of third-party administrators (TPAs) and outsourced claims partners across Europe, supporting best practice, quality control, and cost management. Ideal for an experienced motor claims professional comfortable with personal injury and property damage claims.

Your Role

* Oversee and review motor claims handled by TPAs and third-party providers across Europe
* Monitor SLA compliance and technical standards
* Analyse claims trends and identify areas for cost or process improvements
* Respond to complex technical queries from internal and external stakeholders
* Prepare performance reports and drive follow-up action plans
* Support new programme rollouts and claims insourcing initiatives
* Contribute to internal policy and process development

Your Skills

* CIP qualified (or grandfathered equivalent)
* 3+ years’ motor claims experience (ideally including BI and/or litigation exposure)
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Confident managing claims through to resolution independently
* Experience working with TPAs or multi-jurisdictional claims teams
* High attention to detail and analytical mindset
* Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 4–5 times per year)
* A second European language (e.g. French) is a plus but not essential
