Clerical Officer (Grade III) Mayo
Our client, a public sector body, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clerical Officer to join their team. This Grade III position is based in Mayo and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential administrative functions within the public sector. The role is initially offered as a temporary contract for a duration of 3-6 months, with the potential for further work for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and manage clinic appointments.
* Transcribe medical and administrative dictations accurately and efficiently, maintaining confidentiality and adherence to data protection guidelines.
* Populate, maintain, and update databases and records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
* Handle telephone and email queries in a professional and timely manner; liaise with patients, staff, and external stakeholders as required.
* Assist with any other clerical duties as required by the team, including data entry, processing forms, and supporting ad-hoc projects.
Requirements:
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
* Demonstrated ability to efficiently use and maintain filing systems, ensuring that documents are properly stored, easily retrievable, and comply with relevant regulations.
* Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately, and records are maintained without error.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with staff at all levels in a professional manner.
