Role
Process Engineer
Location: Cork or Drogheda
Responsibilities
* The primary responsibilities are to provide hands-on process & quality support for production.
* To assist with all engineering activities relating to, new process implementation, onboarding Clients and the introduction of new products across all of IM’s divisions.
* To perform quality related activities, including but not limited to, First Article Inspections, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements mainly ISO, support investigation and documentation of Customer complaints/CAPAs.
* Work collaboratively with the IS&T department and Engineering on aligning the physical processes with IM’s Service Platforms (i.e. ERP, CRM, Customer Facing Portals).
* Participate in the development, implementation & continuous improvement of processes.
* Driving User Acceptance Testing & production rollout. Travel & off-site project work opportunities.
Valued skills and experience
* Desired Skills/Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
* 12months+ NPI & Manufacturing support experience
* Comfortable on IT systems, ERP, CRM, QMS etc desirable
* Working Knowledge of Nav Dynamics 2017 an advantage
* Working Knowledge of ISO desirable
* Problem Solver with excellent analytical & troubleshooting skills
* Knowledge of Lean Methodologies and Continuous Improvement mindset
