Base pay range Senior Business Analyst We are hiring on behalf of a Financial Services client seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong track record in IT-enabled project delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives across cross-functional teams in a dynamic and regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the elicitation, analysis, and management of business and functional requirements to deliver high-quality, value-driven solutions
Collaborate with stakeholders through workshops and interviews to map, design, and document efficient business processes
Work closely with IT, development, and operations teams to shape and deliver innovative, technology-enabled solutions
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation such as Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows, and dashboards to ensure clarity and accessibility
Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing sessions to support IT and business teams in adopting new systems and processes
Proactively contribute to identifying and managing project and delivery risks
Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
Oversee test planning, execution, and defect management in collaboration with QA teams, while supporting business UAT activities
Execute and document testing activities to validate system performance and reliability
Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT, ideally within the Financial Services sector
Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and best practices (e.g.
BABOK)
Hands-on experience with data analytics and visualisation tools - experience with Snowflake and Power BI is highly desirable
Familiarity with Salesforce is an advantage
Relevant certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA preferred
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong planning and organisational abilities; experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
