Business Improvement Analyst
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As the Business Analyst, you will analyse the service business from end to end (directed by business need). You will concentrate on the transformation of the current practices to enable the Operations team to deliver/exceed Client expectations. It could be creating new process solutions, improving on existing processes, or leading the implementation of change processes within operations or across operations and Support departments (like HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, Finance, Payroll etc).
Responsibilities
Capture each stage of the requirements gathering process which matches scope, individual and functional requirements.
Assist problem solving and bottlenecks faced by the business by researching, analysing and transforming the way processes are done.
Generate actionable proposals for Management approval, manage implementation with team changes verifying risks and delivery.
Provide estimates and take ownership of analysis deliverables from initial engagement to sign-off.
Exhibit confidence and knowledge of best or emerging industry practices when solving business problems.
Work closely with business process owners to design, build and document detailed operational processes and procedures.
Work with the teams to create and design the "To-Be" business processes across the business and understand the resulting change impact for the business.
Functional Requirements
Work closely with business process owners to document details "As Is" processes.

Put systems in place to routinely measure, manage and report all key metrics.
Identify and analyse programmes and processes that require improvement.
Responsibility for controlling the Change control process across the business areas.
User Stakeholders
Correctly interpret user stakeholder requirements.
Assist the development team on how test cases must be formulated.
Breakdown communication barriers between stakeholders and business owners.
Workshop facilitation to understand and document project requirements.
Provide key stakeholders with informative reports, presentations, and communications as required.
Build strong relationships with project stakeholders.
Anticipate issues, think proactively, and use critical thinking skills to plan stakeholder elicitation sessions.

Person Spec, Competencies & Experience
Specifically, the Business Improvement Analyst will have:
5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst
Certificate in Business Analysis HETAC Level 8 or another relevant accreditation.
Project Management accreditation, i.e. PMP/PRINCE 2/ Lean
Understanding of business, functional and non-functional, process requirements.
Experience of business process development, improvement, and optimization.
Experience in managing multiple initiatives through a complete cycle.
