Oversee the quality assurance programs for nurses and healthcare assistants to support and guarantee the provision of the best possible patient-centered care.
Through the care processes, advance, include, and promote person-centered nursing practices, which improve patient outcomes and clinical efficacy.
Make ensuring that the evidence-based competency goals for healthcare assistants and nurses are fulfilled at the unit level.
Encourage change and play a significant part in advancing business and nursing advancements.
Assist the Director of Clinical Services (DOCS) in delivering nurse education in a strategic and forward-looking manner.
If necessary, cover for senior nurse managers.
Exercise clinical and strategic leadership.
Encourage team building among employees.RequirementsNMBI license for registered general nurses.
A level 9 or higher postgraduate degree in education is required.Finished a course in teaching and assessment.
Proficiency in teaching in an academic environmentFive years of nursing experience after registration.A minimum of two years' experience in quality improvement, practice development, clinical education, or teaching.
