An exciting career opportunity for an experienced Verification Engineer to join a global leading Semiconductor company, where you will lead a CPU team at their R&D Centre in Cork, Ireland.
As the Lead Design Verification Engineer, you will collaborate with Chip Architects to validate CPU and SOC micro-architectures. Your role involves working on specific aspects of CPU Design Verification, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure product readiness and standards compliance.
Responsibilities include:
* Leading and mentoring Verification teams
* Understanding system requirements with CPU and SOC Architects
* Developing Test and Coverage plans based on architecture
* Creating scalable Verification Methodology and environment components
* Implementing Verification Plans and Testbenches
* Executing verification, debugging, and reporting progress
Qualifications:
* Leadership experience in CPU Verification teams
* Deep knowledge of Micro-Processor Verification, including Cache Coherence, Memory ordering, Branch Prediction, etc.
* Experience with Random Instruction Sequencing and verification at various design levels
* Knowledge of Formal methods, Assertions, and Silicon bring-up is advantageous
* Proficiency in writing Test plans, Testbenches, and Assembly code
* Experience with Verification tools and methodologies
* Ability to work independently on design blocks
