Enterprise Architect (6-Month Day rate Contract)
Dublin – Hybrid
This newly created role will establish and lead the organisation's architecture practice, setting the strategic technology direction and ensuring alignment across business and delivery initiatives. You will bring strong business acumen, deep technical expertise, and the ability to influence at executive level to shape an enterprise roadmap that supports future growth.
Key Responsibilities
·Define the enterprise architecture vision, strategic direction, and roadmap in partnership with senior business and technology stakeholders.
·Operate confidently with executive leadership, providing clear guidance on technology investment and transformation priorities.
·Stand up and lead the architecture practice, establishing governance, standards, and consistent ways of working across domains.
·Provide architectural oversight across delivery initiatives, ensuring solution integrity and acting as a senior escalation point for complex challenges.
·Develop and maintain enterprise architecture principles, frameworks, and tools that enable agility, scalability, and innovation.
·Work closely with business and delivery teams to ensure solutions achieve measurable business outcomes.
·Promote continuous improvement, capability uplift, and thought leadership within the emerging architecture function.
About You
·Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or Head of Architecture in complex, multi-domain environments.
·Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at executive and board levels.
·Deep knowledge of business strategy, technology ecosystems, and enterprise road mapping.
·Experience establishing or maturing an architecture practice, including governance and capability development.
·Demonstrated ability to support end-to-end delivery, balancing strategic intent with practical execution.
·Exceptional leadership, facilitation, and influencing capability.
