Job Description
The MES Operations Manager is accountable for the day-to-day operation of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) at our site.
This includes ensuring the integrity of data within the system and that provided by associated data exchanges.
The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning MES operations with Commercial Manufacturing requirements.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring the MES system installation aligns with site policies and processes
* Coordinating the needs of functional groups across the site and establishing priorities for MES operations
* Reviewing company documentation including SOPs, requirements, and manufacturing batch records to assess MES impact
* Developing strong business relationships with Commercial Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Material Management groups to ensure alignment with MES operations
* Collaborating with other IOPS sites on the delivery of the MES system
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this opportunity, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Life Sciences with a minimum of 7+ years of related experience within the field.
A strong understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems and project management skills are essential for success in this role.
