Our company is seeking a talented and experienced professional to fill the position of Food Safety & Quality Manager. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience of overseeing quality within a food or pharma manufacturing environment with a deep understanding of food quality standards, policies, procedures, and systems.
Job Description
The newly created role will be accountable for food safety and quality aspects of the new Lactase Enzyme product range and production line currently under construction. The Food Safety & Quality Manager will be responsible for all Food Safety and Quality requirements for Lactase Business, working with established quality team on site.
The key responsibilities of this role include ensuring new line compliance with Kerry Quality Management Systems, FSQ standards, policies and procedures. Additionally, the successful candidate will lead the sites external and internal audit programme to ensure audits are completed to the required frequency and drive close out of non-conformances.
* Responsible for customer complaint handling, responses, reporting and trending.
* Oversee quality of Third-Party Manufactures.
* Building relationships with senior management of the Kerry enzyme business and other Kerry enzyme portfolio sites.
* Work with cross functional teams on site in Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement Projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
* Significant Quality experience gained within Food / Beverage / Pharma manufacturing industry with a good eye for detail.
* Degree or equivalent in Food science/technology related subject.
* Lead Auditor Qualification (GFSI) and familiar with various food quality standards.
* HACCP Level 4 (Min).
* Food Hygiene Level 3 (Min).
* Proficient written, numerical and verbal skills, fluency of English.
* Numerical ability to record, interpret and analyse key data.
* SAP experience is beneficial but not essential as training is provided.
