Job Description
The purpose of this post is to provide a high-quality cardiac investigation service to children with known or suspected cardiac disease. The ideal candidate will have the necessary qualifications and experience to manage the physiology services effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Chief II in managing the physiology services
* Oversee, progress and development of the ECG, arrhythmia and pacing section of the department
* Provide a high-quality cardiac investigation service to children with known or suspected cardiac disease
Requirements:
Essential Criteria
* Possess a BSc in Clinical Measurement from Technology University Dublin or Dublin Institute of Technology
* Or possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification (Level 8) as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurements Physiology (IICMP)
* OR if qualified in or prior to 2005: Possess the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from Dublin Institute of Technology OR possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Physiology (IICMP)
Additional Requirements:
* Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years satisfactory relevant post-qualification experience
* Candidates must have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role
