We are seeking a passionate and skilledChef / Chef de Partieto be instrumental in launching our kitchen and delivering a menu focused on fresh, high-quality, and appealing food.The Role:Working closely with the Cafe Manager and Operations Manager, you will be the heart of our kitchen operation. Your responsibilities will include:Food Preparation & Cooking: Preparing, cooking, and plating all items on the menu (breakfast, lunch, snacks, and baked goods) to consistently high standards for both in-house dining and drive-thru customers.Quality & Consistency: Ensuring every dish meets our strict quality, presentation, and portion control guidelines.HACCP & Hygiene: Upholding the highest standards of HACCP (food safety) compliance and kitchen hygiene at all times.Stock Management: Assisting with stock rotation, inventory checks, and minimising waste to help control food costs.Daily Prep: Taking ownership of daily mise en place to ensure smooth and efficient service, particularly during peak drive-thru times.Menu Input: Collaborating on menu development, suggesting seasonal specials, and helping to cater to a customer base that values both speed and healthy options.Equipment Care: Maintaining all kitchen equipment and promptly reporting any maintenance issues.Who We Are Looking For:The ideal candidate is a culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering excellent food.Essential Requirements:Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, Line Cook, or experienced Chef within a busy commercial kitchen or cafe environment.Up-to-date HACCP training and a thorough understanding of food safety regulations.Experience in high-volume service, ideally including fast service or drive-thru operations.A genuine passion for food quality and consistency.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly as part of a small,dynamic team.A flexible attitude to working hours, which will include early mornings and potentially some weekends.What We OfferCompetitive Salary: Negotiable based on experience and level.Excellent Working Environment: Join a supportive team in a brand-new, modern, and fully equipped kitchen.No Late Nights: As a cafe in a health complex, our hours are highly favourable compare
