Assistant Financial Controller | Dublin 12 | Permanent, Full-Time

We are seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to join our client's team and play a key role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Financial Controller in overseeing the finance function and ensuring accuracy across all financial processes
* Manage and support a team of finance staff, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of financial tasks
* Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
* Prepare, review, and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
* Monitor budgets, expenditures, and forecasts, providing insights to support management decision-making
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, financial regulations, and internal controls
* Support external audits and liaise with auditors as required
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance department
About You:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (professional qualification such as CPA/ACCA/CIMA is an advantage)
* Proven experience in finance or accounting, ideally with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant controller role
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a team
* Proficient in MS Office, SAP, and ERP systems
* Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
