Job Description
Automotive Mechanic/Technician
Compensation: The hourly guaranteed range is $17 - $24, with additional incentives. The Flat Rate range is $20 - $45 per hour flagged, based on experience.
As an Automotive Technician, you will perform diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance on guest vehicles. You will participate in comprehensive training from day one, preparing you for advanced roles. Your role is vital in delivering 5-star guest experiences, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications.
* Obtain guest approval for work based on diagnosis; maintain a clean work environment.
* Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
* Test drive vehicles and safely use shop equipment for inventory pickup.
* Collaborate with teammates and lead General Service Technicians when appropriate.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
* At least 2 years of automotive technician experience.
* Valid Driver’s License.
* Own basic automotive tools or participate in the tool purchase program.
* Ability to work overhead, stand for long periods, and lift 50 lbs.
* Guest and team-focused mindset.
* Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license if applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
* ASE certification in A1-A8.
* Automotive Technician State Inspector License.
* Automotive technical school certificate or degree.
