Project Manager
This position requires a candidate with the ability to project manage, plan, schedule, manage risk, communicate, and be responsible for completing IT projects for both new and existing clients as well as internal projects. The Project Manager will oversee the successful completion of IT projects within an organization, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet specified requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate Effectively Across Teams: Work closely with the Professional Services Manager and the Professional Services Team, as well as team leads from other service delivery areas, to ensure successful project delivery.
* Project Planning and Documentation: Create and manage comprehensive project plans and documentation for each initiative, ensuring clarity and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
* Project Preparation and Scoping: Prepare, schedule, and scope projects in collaboration with the Professional Services Coordinator to ensure all requirements are thoroughly addressed.
* Facilitate Stakeholder Engagement: Lead and facilitate project meetings with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
* Coordinate Resources and Communications: Liaise with clients, third‑party vendors, project resources, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and effective project execution.
* Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts or challenges promptly, working to find acceptable and constructive resolutions that maintain project momentum.
* Produce High‑Quality Documentation: Generate detailed, clear, and timely documentation that is relevant and accessible to all project stakeholders.
* Monitor and Report Progress: Regularly track project progress and provide accurate status updates to all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Education & Key Requirements
* College Degree (Three‑year college or technical school) Preferred, Field of Study: IT is desirable.
Experience
* 5–7 years of hands‑on experience across project management, delivery, and working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
* Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects, ideally within the IT sector.
* Deep working knowledge of project planning, monitoring, and control methodologies and tools.
Skills
* Extensive project management experience from initiation to completion.
* Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Office 365, ConnectWise).
* Strong understanding of hardware and software technologies.
* Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
* Highly organised with outstanding time‑management abilities.
* Accountable leadership and stakeholder engagement.
* Client engagement, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction focus.
