The Role:
- Lead and manage full lifecycle projects across automation, robotics, simulation, and process control.
- Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and compliance on all assigned projects.
- Develop project management principles and best practices within the organisation.
- Work with key stakeholders to understand project requirements and convert them into actionable scopes and budgets.
- Lead, mentor and support junior and intermediate project managers.
- Manage financial performance, including cash flow, budgets, supplier contracts, and cost control.
- Support procurement and project start-up, through to commissioning and client handover.
- Identify, categorise and mitigate project risks.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the engineering team.
The Person:
- Degree qualified in engineering or PMP certified, with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Strong stakeholder and team leadership experience, including mentoring junior colleagues.
- Excellent financial and risk management acumen.
- Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP, and pharmaceutical project delivery is highly desirable.
- Background in automation or robotics is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communicator with strong organisational skills.
- Full clean driving licence required.
