We are currently seeking a skilled Facilities Project Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a major expansion project in the Life Sciences Sector, based in Ireland.
As a Facilities Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and specifying clean utilities, HVAC equipment, piping, ducting, and controls. You will also manage small-to-mid sized projects related to utilities and HVAC services, conduct troubleshooting for complex issues with plant equipment and associated systems, and identify corrective actions.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, and at least 3 years of experience in engineering. Direct experience with Utilities systems (clean / grey) & HVAC is preferred.
This is a contract position that requires working on site 5 days per week, Monday – Friday. The location is close to an international airport, making it easily accessible by air.
You will be required to:
* Design and specify cGMP clean/grey utilities, HVAC equipment, piping, ducting, and/or controls.
* Manage small-to-mid sized projects related to utilities & HVAC equipment & services.
* Conduct troubleshooting for complex issues with plant equipment and associated systems, identifying and recommending corrective actions.
* Assist in the design review, site acceptance, and installation of equipment.
* Support QA Validation department by preparation of design documents and assists in protocol execution.
* Assist in investigations of utility systems, and control system anomalies as well as safety incidents.
* Implement corrective/preventative actions for existing equipment and maintenance processes.
* Prepare engineering evaluations and test plans for and executes modification change control documentation.
* Interpret P&IDs, equipment/system layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications in planning and performing maintenance and repairs.
* May supervise mechanical, electrical, and automation contractors.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by enforcing procedures, policies, and regulations.
* Maintain company reputation by enforcing compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and regulations.
Must Have's to successfully fill this position:
* Requires Level 8 or higher in Mechanical engineering or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in engineering preferred.
* Direct experience with Utilities systems (clean / grey) & HVAC is preferred.
