Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Responsibilities Commercial Management: Oversee the full commercial lifecycle of projects, from initial cost planning and tendering through to the final account settlement.
Cost Planning & Estimating: Prepare detailed cost plans, Bill of Quantities (BOQ)s, and budget estimates for projects.
Procurement & Contracts: Lead procurement processes, negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers, and manage contract variations and claims.
Financial Monitoring: Track project expenditure, provide accurate cost reporting, monitor cash flow, and forecast costs against budget.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and report on commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project profitability.
Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, design teams, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure transparency and build relationships.
Value Engineering: Conduct value engineering to identify cost savings and opportunities within project designs.
Compliance: Ensure projects comply with relevant building regulations, public works contract conditions, and company policies.
Site Visits: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, verify work completed, and measure quantities for payment purposes.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior commercial staff, supporting their development.
Experience: Dealing with Tier one clients: 3 years (required) Licence/Certification: Full clean driving licence (required) Work Location: In person
