Specialising in converting waste PET plastic materials using state-of-the-art recycling technology, we are a market leader in providing circular solutions in the plastics industry in Europe.We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the CEO, the Financial Accountant has overall responsibility and control of the Organisation's financial function to include financial reporting, budget preparation, variance analysis, budget updates, general accounting, and inventory and fixed asset accounting.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral AccountsResponsible for the day to day accounting functionsGeneral ledger/accounts and reconciliation supportPreparation of the monthly management accounts and supporting schedulesAccurately complete balance sheet reconciliationsVAT, Intrastat, VIES, PAYE/PRSIOversee the posting of payments and allocations of such to creditors accountsOversee the monthly reconciliation of all supplier accounts, ensuring queries are dealt with quicklyAct as a link between production/purchasing/quality and financeDeal with queries from colleagues from departments across the companyPrepare and process fortnightly payrollEnsure the ERP system accurately reflects relevant banking transactionsPreparation of year end accounts and liaising with external accountants and auditors in relation to same, attending AGMCashflow forecasting, updating and maintainingComplete monthly variance analysis of department budgeted and actual spendingManagement ResponsibilitiesOverseeing Novelplast Accounts department including delegation of tasks and continuous training and support of department.Oversee the financial management of the organisation and the company's finance functionParticipate in the monthly Business Review and annual Management Review meetingsPrepare annuals budgets (liaising with different departments)Management of the company's working capital facilitiesLiaising with financial institutions and other finance bodies on project financing or any refinancing requirements or grantsPreparation of Quarterly Board Pack for BoD meetings and attendanceExperience Required3+ years experience in a similar roleManufacturing experience advantageousSystems experience desirable (Netsuite, Collsoft, Softworks)Professional Accountancy qualification or degree in Accounting requiredJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany eventsCompany pensionEmployee assistance programOn-site parkingApplication question(s):What are your salary expectations for this role?Work Location: In person
