Role OverviewAs a Senior Business Analyst within the Banking Consulting Group, the person will be responsible for engaging with clients across the stages of the Project Lifecycle – Requirements gathering, Mapping processes, Solution architecture & Design through to development, UAT and deployment. This person should be a subject‑matter expert in Payments, with 6–10 years of experience, having worked on large payments transformation projects. The role involves working closely with the client Business/IT team, internal development, and Payments product vendor teams.Role ResponsibilitiesInteracting with business owners, product teams, product vendors, other application owners, external customers and internal customers to identify requirements and deliver those within stipulated timelines.Providing content leadership in working with clients to define solutions for their business requirements.Project‑managing the delivery of the agreed engagement outcomes for the client.Leading High‑Level Business & Project Review Meetings for Payments system modernization/transformation.Engaging with business stakeholders for requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.Working with delivery/implementation teams to provide domain inputs and ensure delivery and implementation of the proposed solution.Co‑ordinating with the technical team to ensure requirements are clear and well understood.Translating business requirement documents into software requirement specifications.Reviewing test strategy & test specifications, assisting in functional testing and providing UAT/BAT support.Having 8+ years of industry experience, including work in Tier‑1 IT organizations in the BFSI domain with a focus on Payments (Low‑Value Payments, High‑Value Payments, Cross‑Border Payments) and key regulations such as SEPA, Faster Payments and Payment Services Directive.Experience with SWIFT ISO messages, Faster Payments Services, and Instant Payments.Good understanding of the global Payments landscape, associated instruments (Direct Debits/Direct Credits) and key players for both Retail & Wholesale payments.Ability to act as a catalyst between business and IT.Skills8+ years of Payments experience and team management.Expertise in Messaging Schemas and Message formats.Experience in Business Analysis of Payments solutions.Strong communication skills with the ability to lead domain discussions with BFSI customers.Engineering or MBA degree is preferred.Equal OpportunityNTTDATA is an equal opportunity employer.
