We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated FacilitiesEngineering Lead to take a lead role in managing mechanical and electrical (M&E) operations, contractor control, and facilities maintenance at a dynamic client site. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and guide the on-site M&E team
* Manage contractor access, documentation, RAMS, and permit-to-work processes
* Oversee and coordinate planned preventive maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and quoted works
* Ensure site safety, compliance, and adherence to all relevant regulations and procedures
* Maintain effective documentation, reporting, and contractor performance reviews
* Liaise with the facilities coordinator to ensure efficient scheduling and completion of works
* Support and implement cost-saving initiatives and operational improvements
* Ensure proper use and logging within CAFAM (Maximo) system
* Work closely with the Health & Safety team to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
* Certifications such as HVAC, PMP, IFMA, CFM, or relevant compliance training are desirable
* Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
* Proven experience in contractor management, safety compliance, and permit-to-work systems
* Strong decision-making, communication, and organisational skills
* Experience in preventive maintenance and equipment reliability management
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to evolving site demands
