The main responsibilities are to provide a high standard of accommodation to individuals and groups ensuring the highest occupancy and average room rate. In addition, the role involves assisting the Reservations Manager, Reception and Sales & Marketing team as required. We are looking for passionate and career minded candidate to join our four star establishment.
Specific Responsibilities include:
* Handling customer reservation enquiries
* Manage administration of reservation department
* Overbookings
* Handovers
* Commissions
* Monitor all reservation sources
We are looking for someone who has held a previous position within a busy hotel environment and be interested in developing a wide range of experience within the departments, will be flexible, hard working and will carry out all duties to a consistently high standard. Candidates must be motivated, enthusiastic and committed individuals who have the ability to work as part of a team on their own initiative.
Successful Candidates must
* Have previous experience of working within a reservations / reception department in a four star property.
* Working knowledge of Hotsoft would be an advantage.
* Applicants must have fluent English and excellent communication skills.
* Be available to work up to 5 days per week (39 hours).
