Lead Care Professional Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead our care team in providing person-centred support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
1. About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Nurse or Social Care Worker to take on a leadership position in our residential disability care setting. You will be responsible for managing and guiding our care team, ensuring that we provide high-quality services that meet the unique needs of each individual.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our service users and their families. You will work closely with other professionals, including healthcare providers, therapists, and educational specialists, to develop and implement personalized plans that promote independence and empowerment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A valid NMBI registration as a Nurse or CORU registration as a Social Care Worker;
* a minimum of 3 years' experience working with children/adults with intellectual disabilities in a residential setting;
In addition, you should possess excellent communication skills; both written and verbal. Experience working within management roles would also be advantageous but not essential.
Perversely one can hold no managerial qualifications QQI Level 6 however do have it on day one!
