About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a busy and growing Production Engineering team in Limerick. This is a hands‑on, office‑based role with a strong technical focus and customer‑facing responsibilities. You'll take ownership of key accounts, deliver cost‑effective engineering solutions, and manage projects from concept through to delivery.
What You'll Do
* Collaborate with customers, engineers, suppliers, and in‑house teams
* Interpret and develop 2D/3D technical drawings (AutoCAD / SolidWorks)
* Plan and schedule production aligned with customer needs
* Troubleshoot daily issues and drive process improvements
* Manage customer accounts and identify new opportunities
* Maintain accurate project documentation and track KPIs using ERP/MES systems
* Support quoting with material selection and time/cost estimates
What We're Looking For
* Level 8 Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Precision Engineering
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar engineering environment
* Strong ability to read and create detailed technical drawings
* Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD
* Strong mechanical reasoning and customer interaction skills
* Organised, detail‑focused, and proactive communicator
* Experience in stainless steel fabrication or precision profiling is a bonus
