Excel Recruitment is now looking for a Rigid Drivers to join our well know client's team in Naas
This position will give you the chance to develop skills and experience with a market leading brand along with a competitive salary and excellent benefits
Responsibilities:
1. Safe, accurate and timely delivery of goods to stores throughout the island of Ireland.
2. Carry out several daily checks including pre-departure vehicle checks and that your load is safe and secure.
3. Unload your vehicle and complete a delivery de-brief.
4. Chart out the appropriate route using maps or GPS
5. Drive the truck to the destination in a safe manner and by following all traffic rules
Essential Skills:
6. At least a year of driving experience in a similar multi drop role
7. Previous experience in the food service industry desirable.
8. Pleasant manner when delivering to customers.
9. Ability to meet deadlines.
10. High attention to detail and thorough execution.
11. Manual Handling Certificate
12. Valid CPC
13. Holding a good understanding of Health and Safety Legislation, Food Safety Standards and with a good geographic knowledge of the Irish road network
Benefits:
14. The pay rate €23.71 per hour
15. €36.98 DAILL2 tax free daily allowance
16. Night work / 12hrs shifts
17. 3-6 drops per night
