Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Controller to join Europe's Largest Airline Group.

Based at our Head Office in Dublin, you will report to the Technical Operations Manager and be responsible for providing technical expertise to oversee the technical defects and maintenance of our fleet of over 600 aircraft.
Your role will involve monitoring aircraft technical defects, ensuring maintenance and operational requirements are met, and maintaining the highest standards of Airworthiness, fleet reliability, and serviceability.
Responsibilities: Support the Line Maintenance operation to maintain a serviceable fleet.Assist in the efficient rectification of aircraft defects.Coordinate and assist in the recovery and repair of AOG aircraft, supporting all aspects of returning an aircraft to service.Communicate continuously with flight crews to understand reported technical defects.Ensure fleet aircraft are based in locations that meet operational and engineering needs.Liaise with the Operations Department to prioritize flight operational requirements.Monitor aircraft Hold Item Lists (HIL), Deferred Defects (DD), and Minimum Equipment List (MEL) defects to ensure timely rectification.Participate in ad hoc project work as requested by the Engineering management team.RequirementsHold an EASA Part 66 license (B1 or B1/B2) with a type rating on B737 NG.Have at least 5 years' experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably on B737 NG.Previous experience in a Maintenance Control environment is preferred.Willingness to work shift patterns as required.Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Demonstrate key competencies and skills outlined below.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and commitment.Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly within a dynamic environment.Maintain a calm, measured response to urgent problems.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.Strong organizational skills with effective prioritization.Excellent attention to detail.Enthusiastic and flexible team player capable of working independently.
