Job Description
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Based in Rosemount Family Resource Centre, Dundrum. Note: Garda Vetting will be required for this post.
Purpose Of The Position: To work with disadvantaged families and assist with the centre programmes designed to provide support with their development.
Responsible To: The Centre Manager on a day to day basis and PICES supervisor.
Hours Of Work: 19.5 hours per week
Duties To Include: The following is not an exhaustive list of the duties associated with the post but is intended for the guidance of the person assigned to the job. Full Training will be provided.
* Assist with the planning and delivery of the Afterschools programme
* Daily programme preparation, (room setup, activity scheduling etc.)
* Assist with the planning and delivery of the Easter / Summer Camps
* Research relevant funding streams and assist with funding applications for same
* Assist with the gathering of evaluation forms for designated programmes facilitated by Rosemount FRC
* Assist with the promotion of the relevant programmes including posters / community information events etc.
* Assist with the production and publication of the quarterly newsletter
* Updating of various Social Media platforms associated with Rosemount FRC as appropriate
Candidate Requirements
* Eager, flexible and enthusiastic person interested in working in a community setting
* Previous experience working / volunteering in the community would be an advantage
* Organisational and administrative experience desirable
* Ability to plan and resource developmental activities
* Good IT skills including MS office applications
* Ideal candidate to be pleasant, friendly, have a welcoming manner, good communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to confidentiality, respect for clients and adhere to current GDPR regulations
* Ability to work on their own initiative, self direct and work as part of a team
