Job Overview:
We invite highly qualified candidates to fill a full-time, temporary position as a Health Psychology Educator within our Department of Health Psychology.
* Teach and facilitate undergraduate and graduate programs in health psychology.
* Support the development of case-based teaching materials for medical, pharmacy, and physiotherapy curricula.
* Contribute to curriculum design, new teaching programs, and assessment methods.
* Collaborate with colleagues across multiple campuses.
The ideal candidate will possess a PhD or equivalent in psychology, strong teaching interests and skills, and enthusiasm for developing innovative teaching and assessment materials. They will also demonstrate excellent communication skills, capacity for original thought, and ability to innovate teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Curriculum Development:
• Participate in the delivery of undergraduate and graduate teaching programs in health psychology.
• Develop and implement case-based teaching materials for medical, pharmacy, and physiotherapy curricula.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new teaching programs and assessment methods.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple campuses to develop and implement teaching programs.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and stakeholders to ensure the success of teaching programs.
Qualifications and Skills:
• PhD or equivalent in psychology.
• Strong teaching interests and skills.
