We are seeking a seasoned professional to take on the role of Health and Safety Advisor in our Cork office.
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety expert to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of our energy-efficient projects across Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our company meets all statutory, legislative, and certification standards. This includes delivering high-quality service to our customers and maintaining a positive safety culture.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparation and issuing of Risk Assessments, Method Statements & Site-Specific Safety Statements & Construction Stage Plans.
* Working with our Project Management and Administrative teams to integrate and streamline our Operations Quality, Health and Safety systems with cloud-based project management software.
* Organizing and conducting regular site quality, health and safety meetings with regular reporting to management.
* Management and maintenance of Safe T-Cert, including auditing and continual improvement objectives.
* Completing EHS training for employees and sole traders/contractors.
* Carrying out regular site, office/warehouse facilities inspections and audits.
* Supporting tender applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A Health and Safety degree or qualification.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant position in the construction industry.
* The ability to deliver internal Health and Safety management courses.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Confidence in the use of MS Office.
* Experience of ISO is an advantage.
