Job Title: Compliance Assessor

Hours: 39 hours per week (on site)
Introduction:
GALRO have over twenty years' experience as a leading provider of Social Care and clinical support services in Ireland.
Due to the continued expansion of our compliance department, we are now seeking to recruit a Compliance Assessor to join our team.
This role will be based out of our Portarlington District Office and will require some travel.
This diverse role includes opportunity for the successful candidate to engage with management, clinicians, service users, statutory bodies and regulatory authorities within the course of their duties.
Job purpose:
The Compliance Assessor has responsibility for maintaining documentation and practices auditing, overseen by the Compliance Manager.
The role involves onsite evaluations and audits, liaising with Service Managers in relation to all aspects of HIQA compliance and GALRO recording systems.
The Compliance Assessor will generate compliance plans and review operational documentation and policies as instructed by the Compliance Manager.
The compliance assessor will from time to time partake in HIQA inspections on behalf of the provider and in support of the Service Manager.
Essential Skills:
* Hold a relevant qualification in social care or office administration.
* Have strong organisational and report writing skills.
* Have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
* Have experience working in a regulated social care setting.
* Have a strong understanding of HIQA standards and principles.
* Have up to date knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance and regulations pertaining to the provision of social care.
