Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Biotech Associate. This role involves working in a self-directed shift team to deliver batch operations successfully, resolve issues, and support a culture of Quality, EHS, Learning, and Continuous Improvement.
Requirements
What you will do:
* Participate in biologic drug substance production, including equipment preparation, operation, monitoring, cleaning, validation, and in-process testing.
* Progress automated recipes using paperless technology to generate drug substances through inoculation and cell culturing, leading to filtration and purification.
* Set up single-use equipment between runs, adhere to GMP and EHS standards, and optimize processing activities using standard work and lean techniques.
* Focus on delivering to patients by maintaining a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, and engaging in personal and team development.
Work Experience Required:
* A science qualification in a technical, engineering, or science-based discipline or equivalent.
* 0 to 3 years’ experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical manufacturing or equivalent.
* Experience in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
* Understanding of biologic drug substance production is an advantage.
* Ability to work as part of a shift team and independently in a constructive manner.
* Logical thinking and proactivity under pressure.
